My experiences living in New York for two years
opened up a whole new world for me.
Ever since,I’ve been fascinated with how wonderful diversity is
and with the differences between people’s perspectives.
I love conversations that go like
“This is what I think, but what do you think?”
That’s because I feel that becoming aware of differences
widens your world and
leads to new discoveries.

But all this also made me realize that knowing your own true feelings
and thoughts is more important than anything else.
Knowing what you truly feel inside helps yourself.
To take a step further,
being able to express your feelings
and share them with others helps mutual understanding.
I think that can be really valuable,
because it helps make the world a richer place.

In the story of My Pink, the main character doesn’t know
how to feel about pink,
but after traveling to various places and learning all sorts of things,
they get in touch with their true feelings.
